ADNS-3055 Logitech G100 G300 sensor: native DPI, acceleration, polling rate

In this article we will review Logitech G100, G300, G300S mice sensor. These gaming mice have an optical 2500dpi Avago ADNS-A3055 sensor. DPI increments: 250; 50 in Logitech Gaming Software for Logitech G300. DPI presets: 250/500/750/1000/1250/1500/1750/2000/2250/2500. Native DPI: 1000.

Polling rate: 125/500/750/1000Hz (1ms max response time). Max Speed: 2 m/s (G100 model), 3 m/s (G300 model). Avago A3055 Known Issues: slight jitter for DPI higher than 2000. You can experienced either negative or positive acceleration during fast movements. The difference between Logitech G100 and G300 is: G300 has more programmable buttons (9), G100 just 4 buttons. Logitech G300 has On-The-Fly Sensitivity / DPI adjustment function, onboard memory allows to save up to 3 settings profiles, Lift-off Distance: 2.5mm. The mouse suits a wide variety of grip styles: palm, claw, fingertip.

    I have the G300 and sometimes i feel aceleration, more positive than negative but this bug is reduced on gaming software 8.94.92 on win 10. Best activate use profiles on PC, no in the mouse.
